GRADUATING HIGH SCHOOL SCHOLARSHIPS

The Smith Mountain Lake Women’s Club proudly awards a $1,500.00 scholarship to a female graduating high school student of Franklin County HS and Staunton River HS.

We are a volunteer and charitable organization open to all women in the SML Community. We encourage and promote members interests in the arts, conservation, education, home life, women’s health, public and international affairs, and to give opportunities for community service.

Criteria:

Applicant must submit a completed application. Have been actively involved in their community. Also, applicant must include a list of their activities that demonstrate leadership values and their teamwork in serving their community. Applicant must be planning on attending a 4- or 2-year college/university.

Since we have been awarding scholarships to high school seniors we have awarded a total of $10,000.
